    Steam Deals Empty Steam Deals

Post by Wildman Thu Dec 30, 2010 6:29 pm

So has everyone been going crazy over steam deals like myself. I have acquired probably about 6 new games since they started. I am looking to buy maybe one or 2 more games but i am not sure what to get. Any suggestions.

I bought the Hearts of Iron III Megapack yesterday. I think Sloid did too. Fuckin amazing price btw: $14 for the base game, expansion, and all the cosmetic DLC.

So far for what i have aquired, mind you i did not buy them all:

    Mount & Blade Complete
    Team Fortress 2
    Battlefield Bad Company 2
    Killing Floor
    Rome Total War

Well so thats only 5 but i still want to get more but i don't know what to get. I know everyone says to get super meat boy but i just haven't felt the urge to do so. I was thinking about Borderlands, Mass Effect 2, or BC2 Vietnam or even possibly Monday Night Combat.

    FEAR series
    Super Meat boy
    Sonic
    Deus Ex series
    Trine

so three parts nostalgia for me. I also donated for the HUMBLE INDIE BUNDLE 2 and got dem five games. Really, it was worth it for Braid alone.

WILDMAN: buy Super Meat Boy, you will not regret it. I promise you this. Honestly even if you just get one hour's playtime out of it, you will know that the five bucks spent was a fucking steal for this game.

I've been hitting up Steam-Deals as they come. Today I got:

    • Indie Kids Pack
    • Indie Flight Pack
    • Front Mission Evolved - Wanzer Pack 3
    • Front Mission Evolved - Wanzer Pack 2
    • Front Mission Evolved - Weapon Pack 2
    • Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood
    • Frozenbyte Collection
    • Winterbottom
    • Mass Effect 2
    • Blade Kitten
    • Indie Beat Pack
I own all of the Indy-pack's and or games that come in them; those 3 just completed my collection even though I bought Crayon Physics before; unlike Humble Indy Bundle, they didn't give us a Steam Activate code :(

I have thought about getting super meat boy, but idk i just haven't really felt the need for a platformer. Maybe i will though who knows. So far the last 3 days have not posted any deals that peak my interest really. I want something i know i will play and some of the games that are on sale although seem good i just don't feel i would play them that much. Hopefully the last days deals are badass.

The deals are insane. They've always had Christmas and holiday deals, but I don't remember a Steam time being quite like this. Makes me wish I had a job. Whisper But mum bought me BC2 and it's DLC for like 22 bucks, so I can't complain.

GET SUPER MEAT BOY. PLAY IT. HAVE A GREAT FUCKING TIME AND LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF.

Got it for free when I preordered Darksiders. Let's just say I bought it brand new for 40 dollars and got Darksiders for free. Flaming It's worth the money, fantastic ARPG that split the timeframe between D2 and Torchlight very well.

Has GTA4 been fixed at all? I could never get it to run well; it has ALWAYS ran like shit for me.

I missed KOTOR back when it was like 2 bucks because the Steam Lucas Arts deal page didn't update for that day. Scared

GTA IV is an excellent game despite its bugs -- which I've only seen in online play and when I'm intentionally trying to break the game. It ran great for me, though I don't know about performance on lower-end machines. If you've still got that E2160, you'll probably have issues :\

Runs like shit on the consoles as well.

The only difference is one is a concrete turd (PC) and the other is just a sloppy log (Consoles)
