Does anyone else here really dig Vietnamese and/or Thai food? I can't get enough of either one. There is this great little shop about a mile down the road from where I live that has that best Pho I have ever had. I feel like it is a legit Vietnamese place because they are always 80% full of Vietnamese people.

Re: Vietnamese/Thai
I've only eaten thai food twice. The last time was about 5 years ago. I remember loving it but I can't find a place nearby.
We do live across the street from a japanese shop & restaurant and a korean one. The japanese one is awesome (going to be trying to make homemade kappa maki tomorrow) but have yet to try korean or vietnamese.
Any dishes you recommend?

For Thai food, any curry is good to me but I especially love the spicy noodle dish or pad thai.
For Vietnamese food, I go for the Pho (kind of a thick soup with lots of stuff in it...you can change what is in it based on what you prefer) and Beef Vermicilli. The vermicilli is a really fresh dish with noodles and vegetables...very good.

Re: Vietnamese/Thai
I eat thai food like, once every week. We have this place where we order food from every tuesday (no real time to make food at work, and everyone's too lazy to bring packed lunches). And I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE fried rice with mixed meats and soy sauce
