Coffin is it true that the French have white flags in cabinets that have "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY" written on them like we do with fire extinguishers?

No but it is true they stick their french attitude all over the world making them selves the 2nd language of the world (english being the 1st) and turning Africa into it's own personal reasource piggy. All this while at the same time never really winning a war or battle with out the support of allies to bail them out.

So the French revolution is the only battle the french ever won? Excluding Napoleon Bonaparte.

In a round about way yeah...before they days of conventional warefare the French were pretty beast. But once their steel balls where cut they were replace with some sort of replica balls. Allowing them to be snooty, demanding, and full of some sort of undeserved self importance. I say this because it's partly true and i just love raging on the french.

And about the revolution...they've had what was it..24-26 revolutions and 5 constitutions. Go france. They've done more for the world to. When Russia set up trade with them, it was a french man (carl marx) who gave them the idea that socialism/communism was a good idea.

yay france!! I'm pretty sure i stuck my foot in my mouth once or twice in there but there you go!

If it weren't for the French, America wouldn't be America.

Added a coma so that shit made sense.

Also, the french had nothing to do with it. We had balls of steel and would have fought till our deaths. They just made things more painless.

Disagreed. Dizzy We would have marched just like the British, straight in a row, and yes, to our deaths. And then there would be no America. So I stand by my statement. Grin

If the balls of steel part wasn't obvious. I keed I keep.

Though on a more serious note; we would have never been in formation like the British; the french taught our soldiers formations, structure, and drilling.

I highly doubt this is true. I can't see why the French would use English in this manner rather than their own language.

e: This thread should be moved to somewhere more appropriate to its lack of gravitas.

Oh, Kobe, you have no idea how badly I wanted to scrap the whole discussion. However, it seemed a couple of people were actually trying to have some sort of debate (though I won't deny I only skim-read half the stuff in here).

I'd Gutter it but am waiting on Eph's approval.

    EDIT: SUCCESS.

Honestly the french didn't have much to do with anything with the way we fought. But they did french help us by being at war with the rest of europe along with england. that's pretty much it. our tactics were our own becuaes we wanted our freedom so bad we weren't going to fight "honorably" by british terms, we were oging to have our freedom, and i'm sure there was something else the french did for us in terms of supplies. BUT if it wasn't for the french there of course wouldn't have been a louisiana purchase, and thus my life wouldn't be the same as it is today. with out that there may never have been an american west coast. Thank you Napoleon for not wanting to deal with the americas!

So yes...thank you french for present day America!

ok so he WAS german..... -.- i still blame the french for that one.
