    Whatcha drinking?

Post by Koblentz on Fri Feb 04, 2011 6:32 pm

For the past couple weeks I've been on a Sam Adams binge.

    L-R:
    • Latitude 48 IPA: light, hoppy, not very IPA-ish but I ended up not caring after the first one
    • Boston Ale: tasty brown ale, not too sweet, not too hoppy
    • Boston Lager: everyone knows this stuff, it's a nice rich lager

    Not pictured:
    • Winter Lager: it's basically Boston Lager with spices in it, very good
    • Honey Porter: a rich dark ale, very sweet and very harsh

    So whatcha drinking, mobsters?

haha, i've been drinking the kirkland signature stuff from costco.. it's not too bad, and pretty cheap.. 24 bottles for $19.. there's an amber ale, an indian pale ale, a pale ale, and a Belgium white.. so far the belgium white is my favorite of the bunch.. new to beer, but not bad

Hmm...cheap Costco beer...I may have to try that. Do they sell normal six packs or do you have to buy in bulk?

Sweet, delicious Genesee Cream Ale. Cheap, yet good.

heh, it's bulk, costco is almost always bulk! but general public can go buy booze without needing a membership, so go get some! =P

My cousins actually live in Genesee County, New York, and drink this all the time (along with Labatt Blue). Pretty good stuff, but I don't think I've seen it at my beer store.

Really? Every liquor store in my area carries both regular Genesee and the cream ale here. I only started drinking it cause my dad bought some after listening to Dan Patrick rave about it for so long on his radio show.

I need to get another one of those and split it with someone who appreciates beer this time.
