Past? Far, far too many.

Yeah there are too many to list from my past as well but those were some milestones for me.

Legend of Zelda 3. It doesn't get any better than that.

You all know me. I'm a DoDs'er through and through. Always enjoyed playing it in a league. I dabble in some COD and other FPS's but other than that I really don't play many games anymore. I am willing however to actually give TF2 a descent chance since there are enough of us who actually own it and are willing to spend time playing it. I guess maybe that means I need to make more time for it too.

Currently: TF2, DoD:S, and most of the Total War games.

There are a lot of older games that were huge for me such as Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye, Half Life 1 & 2, etc. Oh, and Harvest Moon.

Top Game for me right now: Company of Heroes

I normally HATE RTS games, but Company of heroes played with friends (NOT STRANGERS) is a thing of beauty. Nothing like 45 minutes of pure "Oh SHHHIIIIITTTTEEEE" before you and your friends can establish a good strong hold to fight back. Something about trusting a friend to do his part and watching a well made plan come together.

Battlefield Series (COD just can't touch, not even remotely close in terms of team strategy that is required and demanded)

Dragon Age- Great, deep story
Mass Effect - Same, great story, good mythos
Drakensang - This gem I have recently discovered. The game mechanics are VERY deep and intense. Story is also deep and engaging.

+1. While I think the CoD series are decent games I don't feel they match up to the Battlefield games in the slightest... Bad Company 2 was so much more fun especially where you needed skill to snipe and actually try to make drop shots and such.

My favorite game of all time was Empire Earth. Because of all of the different kinds of units you can control, and the different ages. Plus the excellent scenario builder makes this game more epic than any other game in history. The only crutch was its multi-player lobby which was hard to use, and is now down so you cannot play online anymore. But it is still my favorite game and TowerD had never topped the TowerD in Empire Earth.

MInes would have to be:
Final Fantasy Tactics - Fell in love with it from a young age
Battlefield 2 - fav MP of all time
Mass Effect - Bought for my friend as a bday gift and i then had to get it myself, played and beat that game way too much.
Brothers In Arms Road to Hill 30 - loved being a squad leader and the story.
ESPN Football 2k5 - fuck you madden u ruined the ESPN games.
