    Of Sauce and Sky: Horror Movies

    Post by Rhosauce on Sun Dec 05, 2010 4:14 pm

    ... in a good way!

    So Eph and I took it upon ourselves months and months ago to trudge through the plethora of terrible (and awesomely so) horror films out there. We did this so you wouldn't have to!

    Since around April, Eph, Harry and I have watched at least 40 horror films between the three of us. Some are franchise ones, some are comedy horrors, some are also completely underrated movies but most are proper B-horrors.

    Below is a list of all of them, links to their respective IMDb pages and how we rated them (not always out of three since we haven't all watched them) in a thumbs up/thumbs down manner.

    I even tried to alphabetise them without my eyes going wonky. Bear with me if I fucked up, plox.

    * Bubba Ho-tep 2/2

    * Carnosaur 2/2

    * Drag Me to Hell 1/1
    * D-War: Dragon Wars 2/2

    * El Chupacabra 3/3

    * Ginger Snaps 3/3

    * Halloween 2/2
    * Halloween II 2/2
    * Halloween III 0/2
    * Halloween IV 2/2
    * Halloween V 2/2
    * Halloween H20 2/2
    * Halloween Remake(s) 2/2

    * Jack Frost 2/2
    * Jack Frost 2 3/3

    * Komodo vs Cobra 3/3
    * Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep 3/3

    * Leprechaun 3/3
    * Leprechaun 2 3/3
    * Leprechaun 3 3/3
    * Little Otik 3/3 (NB: from The Grifter meme)

    * Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus 3/3
    * Mimic 3/3
    * Monster a-Go Go 0/3

    * Night of the Lepus 0/3

    * Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead 3/3

    * Rabid Grannies 3/3
    * The Relic 3/3
    * Return of the Living Dead 2/2

    * Santa's Slay 3/3
    * Silent Night, Deadly Night 2/2
    * Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 3/3

    * Tremors 2/2
    * Tremors II: Aftershocks 2/2
    * Tremors III: Back to Perfection 2/2
    * Tremors IV: The Legend Begins 2/2
    * Trick 'r Treat 3/3
    * Troll 2/2
    * Troll 2 3/3

    * Undead 3/3

    * Wendigo

    Maybe we could watch some of these over the next bunch of Mob Movie nights. Or we could just work through the rest of the movies on our list of to-be-watched films. I could post that too if you guys are interested. Let me know!

    We watched it. :D Rho detests it, and I'd say she's right. It's stinky. But number 4... yes.

    Back 2 da Hood is probably the worst out of all of them... but oh man... I cried so hard while laughing.

    Yeah, Tremor films need to be up there as well. They are epic.

    I see no:
    Night of the Living Dead (both versions)
    Dawn of the Dead (both versions)
    Land of the Dead
    Day of the Dead (both versions)
    Diary of the Dead
    or Survival of the Dead

    Obviously; this is a problem you should address.

    Don't worry though; we all make mistakes.
