    The Tempest 2010

Post by Rhosauce on Thu Dec 16, 2010 1:24 am

As a Shakespeare appreciator, I am definitely going to watch it. A few parts of the trailer are making me weary but I haven't read The Tempest in a while, so maybe I'm just being hesitant.

Thoughts? Have any of you already seen it?

Interesting. I never read the Tempest, so I'm excited for this. All the classical acting looks awesome.

I agree. I'm glad they didn't pull a Luhrmann-style modern interpretation out of their asses. Romeo + Juliet was painful to watch.

I'm also a huge of fan of Helen Mirren.

I really like Alan Cumming, as well. Plus, Russell Brand looks funny, for a change.

+1 on all accounts. At the very least, this should be an interesting watch.

I've read The Tempest but it has been a few years. I'm definitely going to check it out. It looks like an interesting take on one of Shakespeare's works.

The ONLY thing that keeps me from being excited for this movie is Russel Brand. The guy irritates me to all end. Besides, he has seen Katy Perry naked, and that angers me more.
